Canon 883.	The following have, by law, the faculty to administer confirmation: 1° within the confines of their jurisdiction, those who in law are equivalent to a diocesan Bishop; 2° in respect of the person to be confirmed, the priest who by virtue of his office or by mandate of the diocesan Bishop baptises an adult or admits a baptised adult into full communion with the catholic Church; 3° in respect of those in danger of death, the parish priest or indeed any priest.

Canon 966.	§1 For the valid absolution of sins, it is required that, in addition to the power of order, the minister has the faculty to exercise that power in respect of the faithful to whom he gives absolution. §2 A priest can be given this faculty either by the law itself, or by a concession issued by the competent authority in accordance with can. 969.

Canon 1111.	§1 As long as they hold office validly, the local ordinary and the pastor can delegate to priests and deacons the faculty, even a general one, of assisting at marriages within the limits of their territory, without prejudice to the provision of can. 1108 §3.
